From Level 4 to Level 9. We have a subscription to meet each individuals ability and help you progress.
Using real exam questions, our worksheets are designed to help each student practice a variety of topics and questions. Each worksheet is carefully designed to the level of the student, so students can be confident they can answer questions that meet the requirement of the level they are aiming for.
Each month there will be four worksheets of mixed exam questions. They have been designed to enable students to practise an exam situation where they have to constantly change between topics and unknown contexts. This will help them decide which topic they need to apply in a variety of situations.
Each worksheet is 15 marks. This means that it should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.
You will also have access to worked solutions and video explanations to each week’s worksheet. These solutions will focus on WHY we use each method instead of simply HOW we do the exam question.
Some months will have bonus worksheet on the 5th Monday of the month. These will focus on a specific element of the exam like functional skills or communication marks, so keep an eye out!
At Simplex Maths we us our experience as classroom teachers, one to one tutors and examiners to help students gain confidence in their methods and understanding.
Our Monthly Subscription works out at less than £2.50 a week for targeted exam practice with expert advice. All you need to do is select which level you would like to start on.
The first week is free so you can sample the worksheets and videos to help you decide which subscription level works best for you.
New worksheets and solutions will be available each Monday. Please note that subscription allows access to the entire months worksheets and access will be available until the first Monday of the following month.

Definitely. You can cancel your subscription at any time and sign up to a different level. You will have access to both subscriptions until the end of the original billing cycle.
We recommend moving up a level if you can confidently complete worksheets in less than 15 minutes or down a level if you are struggling to complete the worksheets in 40 minutes.

Don’t worry we are here to help! If you are taking Foundation then we recommend starting at level 4 and seeing how that goes for a few months. If you can consistently complete them within 15 minutes then we recommend changing to a level 5 subscription. Please Note that Foundation GCSE only goes up to level 5.
If you are taking Higher then level 6 is a good starting point for year 11. If you are consistently taking less than 15 minutes to complete the worksheets then its time to move up to level 7-9. They do get challenging but don’t worry, the video solutions are there to help! If the Level 6 is a struggle then feel free to move down to level 5, we understand its important to master all types of questions and the level 5 questions may help with gaining the confidence in exam technique before moving back up to level 6.

Absolutely. Even though we have predominantly used Pearson Edexcel papers for our worksheets, the syllabus and topics are exactly the same for AQA, OCR and WJEC.
If you are taking IGCSE there will be a few topics omitted but these worksheets are still great for exam practice.

It is important that if you come across something unfamiliar that you see what you already know and how you can apply it.
We understand that sometimes a topic may come up that you haven’t finished yet. For year 11’s we believe that repetition at this point is extremely important. In each topic we need time to learn, review and revise, so at any point in year 11 getting a head start isn’t a problem. Check out the video explanations. You never know, you may be surprised at how much you already knew!

Absolutely! These mixed questions can give such great training for year 9 and 10 students as many wont see any exam papers until the end of year 10 mocks (or even year 11 mocks). These worksheets and explanations can really help to increase confidence and exam technique before their final year.
For year 9 and 10 we recommend starting at Level 4 for all students. This is because these worksheets are most likely to cover topics already seen in key stage 3 and enable them to get used to the exam style and process.
